Tony Craig and Neil Harris scored for Millwall as they beat the League One leaders after conceding an early goal.
Norwich academy product Chris Martin opened the scoring with a low, curling free-kick from 23 yards that brought his 13th league goal of the season.
But full-back Craig's low shot from the left side of the penalty area found its way past the helpless Fraser Forster.
And the winner came when substitute Harris headed home Chris Hackett's cross after a well-worked short corner.
Millwall manager Kenny Jackett told BBC London 94.9:
"We were disappointed with how easily the free kick went in to be honest, because we are usually set up better than that.
"To come back from that was a massive effort. The amount of output our players put in today was needed but was terrific.
"There was a good crowd at the Den and excellent atmosphere."
