Korey Smith scored the only goal as Norwich beat Wycombe and maintained their fine recent form in League One.
Smith broke the deadlock 13 minutes from time, sliding home Wes Hoolahan's cutback to fire the Canaries into second place in the table.
Norwich were dominant throughout and both Simon Lappin and Chris Martin rattled the bar with free-kicks.
Matt Phillips hit the post for Wycombe but Norwich finally made the breakthrough when Smith fired home.
Norwich manager Paul Lambert told BBC Radio Norfolk:
"I thought Scott Shearer was excellent. Some of the saves he made were terrific.
"We kept on going and well deserved the game.
"The lads have been colossal. I really can't compliment them enough for the way that they've performed."
