Glenn Murray scored four goals as Brighton produced a stunning second-half fightback to thrash fellow strugglers Wycombe.
Goals from Jon-Paul Pittman and John Mousinho either side of Murray's overhead kick put Wanderers 2-1 up.
But Nicky Forster levelled soon after the break and Murray helped himself to a second-half treble to hand boss Gus Poyet his first win in four games.
The result lifts Brighton above Leyton Orient and out of the bottom four.
Brighton boss Gus Poyet told BBC Sussex:
"You cannot ask for more. I think the second-half was a different class.
"Today the two strikers Nicky (Forster) and Glenn (Murray) won the game with the way they performed.
"I was a bit disappointed (with the point on Boxing Day). After this, I take it. Four points from these two games are important for us."
