Chris Westwood and Kevin Betsy were the heroes as lowly Wycombe notched their first win in 14 attempts to ruin Millwall's vintage run at the Den.
Westwood headed over and Paul Robinson headed wide as both sides missed first-half chances to open the scoring.
The Lions had not lost in 14 home games but they went behind when Westwood rose highest to head home a John Mousinho corner from 10 yards out.
And Betsy sealed Wycombe's win when he finished coolly after a 40-yard run.
Millwall manager Kenny Jackett told BBC London 94.9:
"It was a really poor performance from start to finish. We never got going, didn't show any fight, didn't show any personality, didn't show any zip.
"It's unexplainable really, probably unacceptable as well. We caused Wycombe very few problems.
"They won the game fair and square and we have to do a lot better than that, starting Tuesday night at Exeter."
