Chris Martin's fifth goal of the season was enough to help Norwich see off Swindon at Carrow Road and make it five wins in six matches.
Despite an uneventful start Norwich started to pile on the pressure and struck the opener on the half hour.
Young striker Martin took advantage of the visitors' poor marking and poked home a cross from Grant Holt.
Anthony McNamee almost equalised but shot wide, while defender Jens Berthel Askou missed a header for the hosts.
Norwich manager Paul Lambert told BBC Radio Norfolk:
"I knew it was going to be tough from previous meeting against Swindon, it was a hard game but again I thought we were excellent.
"It's important how you react to a defeat, and the lads came roaring back, which was great.
"It was a big performance in front of a phenomenal crowd."
Swindon boss Danny Wilson told BBC Wiltshire:
"Apart from giving a sloppy goal away I thought we did quite well in large parts of the game.
"I think the difference is in that last third. We've got great positions but we're not delivering when we should.
"I thought we defended brilliantly at times against a very good Norwich side."
