Brighton manager Russell Slade was denied victory on his return to Yeovil as his former club came from two goals down to draw with the Seagulls.
An 18-yard drive from Andrew Crofts gave the visitors the lead and Liam Dickinson fired home to make it 2-0.
Yeovil's Scott Murray cut in from the right and fired in an angled drive in first-half stoppage time.
Terrell Forbes was fouled by Brighton's Jake Wright in the box and Murray hammered home the resulting penalty.
Brighton and Hove Albion manager Russell Slade told BBC Radio Somerset:
"In the first period, I thought we had a lot of possession and certainly the better chances.
"However, we didn't live up to that in the second period and they deservedly got the equaliser.
"I thought there were a lot of little things that weren't right, both individually and separately."
Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton told BBC Somerset:
"To get on the pitch and to play for Yeovil you've got to be of a certain fitness and a certain standard. Scott Murray wasn't up to that but he is up to that now which is why he is getting game time."
"I still can't get one over him [Russel Slade]. He's still winning the battle after a 5-0 and a 2-2, so on aggregate he's a better manager than me."
