Lloyd Sam scored twice as Charlton kept up their perfect start to the season at the expense of faltering Tranmere.
The striker deservedly handed the visitors the lead when he headed in a deep cross from Jonjo Shelvey, and Jose Semedo fired in a second minutes later.
With Tranmere rarely threatening, Sam made it 3-0 when he headed in at the far post from Kelly Youga's centre.
And a 40-yard effort from Nicky Bailey deceived Daniels to put the gloss on the Addicks' fifth straight league win.
Charlton boss Phil Parkinson tells BBC London 94.9:
"It was a very good performance first half. I think it was as good as we've played this season. 2-0 up at half time, it was important that we kept our professionalism in the second half.
"We did that and really killed the game off so obviously we're very pleased."
