Goals from Miguel Llera and Scott Wagstaff earned Charlton a comfortable victory against Walsall and kept them top of League One on goals scored.
Frazer Richardson's 30-yard drive was well saved and Nick Bailey headed over before Llera poked in from Bailey's cross to open the scoring for Charlton.
Deon Burton and Jonjo Shelvey went close to adding a second before Wagstaff slotted in from 12 yards.
Walsall's Sam Parkin headed against the post as his side tried to fight back.
Charlton manager Phil Parkinson told BBC London 94.9:
"Obviously very pleased. I felt we weren't quite at the level we've reached in the other three games today. Often you get that with the third game in seven days.
"Both teams were slightly flat but we did more than enough to win the game."
