Neil Harris scored his fourth goal in as many games as Millwall recorded their first league win of the season.
The hosts took the lead with their first meaningful attack, David Martin smashing in off the underside of the bar after Steve Morison's flick-on.
Keeper David Forde kept his side ahead when he saved Pawel Abbott's penalty after Tony Craig was adjudged to have brought down Andy Holdsworth.
Harris clinched the win in injury time when he headed in Jason Price's centre.
