Luciano Becchio's second-half strike was enough for Leeds to take all three points away at newly-promoted Wycombe.
Chris Zebroski had a chance to give the home side an early lead, but he shot tamely at United goalkeeper Shane Higgs from Matt Phillips' cut-back.
Jermaine Beckford twice had a chance to put Leeds in front but he grazed the post before blazing wide.
However, the visitors dominated after the break and Becchio smashed in the winner from 25 yards on the hour mark.
Leeds boss Simon Grayson told BBC Radio Leeds:
"When you win the first three games of the season you've got to be delighted and obviously we are.
"Second half I thought we were excellent. We didn't let Wycombe out of their half.
"Becchio and Beckford are bang in form at the moment, they're a handful for any defence at this level.
