A drab goalless draw between Swindon and MK Dons was overshadowed by a serious injury sustained by Dons captain Dean Lewington.
The defender clashed heads with Mathias Doumbe and was tended to for 10 minutes on the pitch as he lay motionless.
The incident clearly affected both sets of players as the game was devoid of any real quality.
The away side looked more likely to score after the break but they failed to test Swindon keeper David Lucas.
Swindon boss Danny Wilson told BBC Wiltshire:
"It wasn't a classic by any stretch of the imagination, chances were certainly at a premium.
"It's a point and you've got to get started somewhere so that's a positive we'll take out of it.
"Playing wise, we've still got a lot to work on but perhaps a draw was a fair result."
MK Dons manager Paul Ince told BBC Three Counties Radio:
"I'm proud of the lads, they were fantastic today, every one of them.
"The game stopped for 15 minutes and it's easy to lose concentration and worry about what happened.
"But in all honesty, we were the best side by far."
