Walsall eased to a comfortable home victory over a poor Brighton side.
The home side took the lead when midfielder Mark Bradley drove in Alex Nicholls's low cross.
Relegation-battling Brighton had little to offer going forward and Troy Deeney added Walsall's second from another Nicholls cross.
Bradley had hit the bar before defender Anthony Gerrard headed the home side's third to wrap up victory before the half-time whistle.
