A Charlie Lee header saw 10-man Peterborough beat rivals Northampton.

Posh defender Gaby Zakuani was red carded after just seven minutes when he appeared to clip the heels of striker Ikechi Anya.

Danny Jackman almost put the visitors ahead but hit the resulting free-kick against an upright.

Lee headed in Paul Coutts' free-kick for the winner on 33 minutes and substitute Chris Westwood denied Anya by clearing his late shot off the line.
