Striker Steve Howard earned League One leaders Leicester a win at play-off hopefuls Millwall.
The Foxes took the lead in the 22nd minute when Howard hit home a low drive from 18 yards.
Howard came close to doubling the score on the stroke of half-time, but his free-kick sailed just wide.
Only the post denied Matty Fryatt from adding a second in the 78th minute, but Leicester were rarely troubled as the game wound to a conclusion.
