Leyton Orient 2-3 Peterborough

Peterborough condemned Leyton Orient to a ninth home defeat of the season after a pulsating clash at Brisbane Road.

Orient strikers Simon Church and Scott McGleish had efforts cleared off the line before Chris Whelpdale met Paul Coutts' cross to head Posh in front.

Sergio Torres fired in to make it 2-0 before McGleish's penalty reduced the deficit but Russ Martin's header put Posh 3-1 up on the stroke of half-time.

McGleish gave Orient hope, scoring from a tight angle, but Posh held on to win.
