Tranmere 1-0 Swindon

Tranmere kept up their push for a play-off place by beating Swindon, despite having Ian Goodison sent off.

Ian Moore fired a shot wide for the hosts before Simon Cox had two shots blocked and Billy Paynter shot into the side-netting for Swindon.

Tranmere went ahead just after the break when Antony Kay neatly controlled a bouncing ball and fired into the net.

Goodison was shown red for fouling Cox and Paynter hit a post while Jerel Ifil headed wide for the luckless visitors.
