Cheltenham 0-1 Northampton

Jason Crowe scored in first half stoppage time to seal Northampton's first win in six matches and put more pressure on lowly Cheltenham.

Northampton came close to opening the scoring when Mark Hughes headed a Danny Jackman corner against the bar.

Crowe then slid in a loose ball after Cheltenham defender Shane Duff had blocked a Leon Constantine strike.

Cheltenham's best effort came after the break with David Bird's free-kick forcing a fine save from Chris Dunn.
