Jonny Howson scored twice to help Leeds to victory over Cheltenham - their fourth successive home win.
Howson headed his first 10 minutes after the interval when he was first to meet Andy Robinson's right wing cross.
He doubled his side's lead moments later, collecting Fabian Delph's pass before shooting past Scott Brown.
Leeds goalkeeper Casper Ankergren had little to do apart from save striker Lloyd Owusu's effort shortly before the half-time break.
