Southend 2-1 Tranmere

Substitute Kevin Betsy scored in the third minute of stoppage time to give Southend victory over Tranmere.

The hosts had the perfect start after three minutes when Theo Robinson slotted in from 12 yards after his initial shot had been saved.

Ian Moore levelled for the play-off chasing visitors from the penalty spot after Dougie Freedman handled a Chris Shuker cross into the box.

But Betsy struck the winner late on with a low shot from six yards.
