Crewe have called a pitch inspection for 0930 GMT on Tuesday, 10 February ahead of the match with Bristol Rovers.
Snow and freezing conditions have put the match in doubt for a third time as Crewe's FA Cup commitments and a frozen pitch have previously delayed the game.
Should the game go ahead, Julien Baudet (ankle) is set to return for Crewe, but James Bailey and Luke Murphy miss out.
Bristol Rovers hope to welcome Steve Elliott back from injury, but the game comes too quickly for Rickie Lambert.
Crewe assistant manager Neil Baker told BBC Radio Stoke:
"They're a decent side, they don't score many goals but they're well organised.
"We'll come up against a team that's disciplined and with two good strikers but we've won our last two home games and that's been a boost for us.
"We hope to build on our home form and, needless to say, pick up some more points away as well."
Bristol Rovers head coach Paul Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol:
"Hopefully it'll be on, we're desperate to play. We've had a lot of training and a lot of postponements and we're keen to get back into action.
"We were disappointed to finish January with a defeat at Southend and want to get back to winning ways and we feel we've got a good opportunity - if the game goes ahead.
"The boys have shown a great application and attitude to all the training we've managed to do over the last 10 days, so we go with a good confidence and spirit that we can get three points."
