Stockport's League One fixture at home to Cheltenham on Tuesday night has been called off because of a frozen pitch.

It is the second postponed match in row for Cheltenham after their FA Cup third round tie against Doncaster on Saturday also fell foul of the weather.

It also denies them the chance to nudge nearer to safety as they currently sit third from bottom of the table.

Stockport, who are fifth in League One, are also prevented from closing the gap on the play-off places.
