Peterborough's match with MK Dons became the latest victim of the weather when it was called off on Tuesday lunchtime because of a frozen pitch.

The London Road pitch had been covered since Friday and heat blowers were also used on it but all to no avail.

Match referee Kevin Wright told the hosts' website: "The temperature is currently at zero and is still frozen.

"The first thing I have to think about is the safety of the players and the pitch is only going to get worse."

No new date has yet been confirmed for the game.
