MK Dons 2-0 Southend

MK Dons consolidated second place in League One as Sean O'Hanlon and Sam Baldock's goals beat Southend.

O'Hanlon provided the perfect start with a glancing header from Peter Leven's corner after eight minutes.

Southend could have replied immediately when Alex Revell's header from a corner came back off the post.

Dons secured the points just before the hour mark, Baldock beating Steve Mildenhall with a 30-yard free kick to give the Dons a fourth straight win.
