League One strugglers Crewe picked up a valuable point away at high-flying Millwall with a battling display.
The home side started well and Tresor Kandol, Neil Harris and Andy Frampton all tested Stuart Tomlinson.
However, John Brayford almost put Crewe in front shortly before the break when he volleyed narrowly over the bar.
After a second half bereft of any real chances, Shaun Miller could have won it for Crewe in injury time but he scuffed his close range effort.
