A goal in each half from Jo Kuffour and Chris Lines ended Bristol Rovers' run of five league games without a win as they beat Tranmere 2-0.
Kuffour opened the scoring after 41 minutes, deflecting Craig Disley's low cross over the line from close range.
Lines put the result beyond doubt with a fine solo run and strike from midfield five minutes after the break.
Tranmere were ineffective as an attacking force, taking 75 minutes to test Rovers goalkeeper Steve Phillips.
