Tuesday's League One match between Walsall and Swindon has been postponed because of snow.

No new date for the fixture has been announced.

"The pitch underneath was fine but the referee just felt for the safety of the players, it was better the game was off.

"I thought something could have been done earlier to make sure the pitch was playable.

"There wasn't a lot of slosh or sleet or snow on it. It could have been scraped off and that's the sad bit - the fans are the ones who suffer again.

"It is the fans that has [lost] money. It has cost them time off work. It is really disappointing for them.

"We just want to keep on playing."
