Gary Roberts should have put the home side in front on 42 minutes, but the midfielder's six-yard shot was blocked by goalkeeper Glenn Morris.

A deflection from a corner denied Andy Welsh a goal on 73 minutes.

And six minutes from time, Gareth Owen hit the top of the crossbar following a Welsh free-kick.
