Millwall made it six wins in seven games with two goals from loan signing Tresor Kandol helping to see off Tranmere at Prenton Park.
Kandol headed the opener after good work from Lewis Grabban with the hosts looking extremely shaky in defence.
Kandol was on target again with a low strike, after Gary Alexander headed on a long free-kick by David Forde.
The double scorer helped Jimmy Abdou make it three, before Bas Savage headed a consolation goal in the final minute.
Tranmere's defeat was their third successive loss at home.
