Lloyd Dyer's late winner saw off Huddersfield and extended Leicester's lead at the top of League One.
Matty Fryatt opened the scoring when he converted Nicky Adams's cross and he made it 2-0 with a penalty after Jim Goodwin handled in the area.
Gary Roberts pulled one back when he fired into the bottom corner from the edge of the area before Liam Dickinson headed the equaliser from six yards.
But Dyer snatched the win with a looping shot in injury time.
