Walsall extended their unbeaten run to four games after a goalless draw at bottom of the league Hereford.

Both sides failed to create chances in the opening 45 minutes when defences were on top.

The visitors had Paul Boertien to thank for a point when he cleared off the line from Bruno N'Gotty after keeper Clayton Ince failed to cut out a cross.

Walsall's Michael Ricketts fired wide and at the other end Dwayne Mattis directed his header off target.
