Millwall capitalised on their numerical advantage to record a fourth successive victory courtesy of a confident performance against 10-man Cheltenham.
Former Lions striker Barry Hayles was shown a straight red card after a late challenge on Millwall skipper Paul Robinson in the 28th minute.
Gary Alexander opened the scoring when he was felled in the box on 68 minutes, before converting the penalty himself.
And David Martin secured the points on 81 minutes with an 18-yard strike.
