Craig Mackail-Smith was the difference as Peterborough saw off early Leyton Orient pressure to ease to victory.
Orient midfielder Sean Thornton drove his side forward early on but Posh went in front when Mackail-Smith raced through before curling home superbly.
Orient keeper Morris was helpless again four minutes into the second half when Aaron Mclean hammered in Posh's second.
And, after Thornton and Adam Boyd had gone close for Orient, Mackail-Smith poached a second and Posh's third.
