Bournemouth resisted a late rally from Bristol Rovers to register their fifth win in their last six fixtures.

Darren Anderton slotted home from 12 yards past Steve Phillips.

Craig Disley and Chris Lines missed chances for Rovers before Jo Kuffour smashed the ball home after good work from Max Gradel.

Rickie Lambert pulled a goal back two minutes later before Andy Williams, Aaron Lescott and Steve Elliot all missed easy chances to equalise.
