Luke Rodgers' stoppage-time equaliser earned rock-bottom Port Vale a dramatic draw and dented Leeds' stuttering promotion hopes.

Defender Rui Marques prodded Leeds ahead, and Dougie Freedman spun to shoot and double their lead.

Paul Harsley gave Vale hope from the penalty spot and Danny Whitaker levelled from close range.

Freedman's header looked to have won it for Leeds, but Rodgers smashed home Kyle Perry's knock-down.
