The Cherries went ahead on nine minutes when winger Max Gradel crossed from the right for Danny Hollands to sweep home from 10 yards.

Simon Church skied an easy volley and Scott Guyett wasting a free header for Yeovil before Vokes doubled the lead from Brett Pitman's pinpoint centre.

Bournemouth are now 11 points from safety with eight games remaining.
