Millwall helped their hopes of avoiding the drop with a win over bottom-of-the-table Port Vale. Lewis Grabban fired past Vale keeper Joe Anyon to put Millwall ahead with his first goal for the club.
Marc Laird also grabbed his first Millwall goal when he volleyed home midfielder Martin's diagonal ball.
David Martin completed the win for the home side by sprinting from the halfway line and lashing home from the edge of the box.
