Jabo Ibehre's first-half strike was enough to beat Luton and hand Leyton Orient their first win in six games. Ibehre pounced after Sol Davis had mis-kicked Paul Terry's cross into his path, firing in off the crossbar.
Orient had dominated early on with skipper Stephen Purches shooting wide and keeper Dean Brill denying Ibehre.
Luton could not muster a shot on target until Calvin Andrew's 56th-minute effort was saved by Stuart Nelson, who also kept out Paul Furlong's header.
