Oldham 2-0 Carlisle
Gary McDonald's two goals in the first half were enough to earn Oldham their first home league win in four months.

Good build-up play by Kelvin Lomax and Chris Taylor led to a smart finish from the 25-year-old in the 21st minute.

His second came with a close-range header from a superb Neal Eardley cross two minutes before the break.

Carlisle could not get into the contest and failed to test Latics' veteran goalkeeper Mark Crossley, and are now without an away win in eight games.
