Phil Jevons scored for the first time in four games as Huddersfield completed a season double against Bournemouth. Town dominated the game, and an early Jevons effort was cleared off the line by Cherries defender Josh Gowling.
But Jevons soon found the net, pouncing on a loose ball when Bournemouth failed to clear Andy Holdsworth's corner.
Shaun Cooper tested home keeper Matt Glennon with a free-kick but Town missed chances to increase their lead, with Luke Beckett going close twice.
