Gillingham clung on to a goalless draw against Oldham despite playing 52 minutes with 10 men after goalkeeper Simon Royce was sent off. The Gills keeper was shown a straight red card after handling outside his
area in the first half.
Oldham hit the frame of the goal on three occasions through Craig Davies, twice, and Neal Eardley.
Luis Cumbers' snap-shot was Gillingham's only serious threat during the match.
