Walsall extended their unbeaten run to 18 games after coming from 2-1 down to grab a share of the points. They had taken the lead through Edrissa Sonko when Swindon keeper Peter Brezovan parried a drive from Mark Bradley straight to the striker's feet.
Swindon struck twice in two second-half minutes, Andy Nicholas pouncing from close-range before Craig Easton headed in Blair Sturrock's corner.
But Walsall struck back a minute later when Sonko headed home from close in.
