Northampton won for the first time in eight league games as they brushed aside Bournemouth at Sixfields. Dean Bowditch's deflected shot on three minutes put the home side ahead, only for Bournemouth to level two minutes later through Brett Pitman.
Poul Hubertz wasted a great chance before supplying the cross for Jason Crowe to head Northampton's second.
Daniel Jones's drive made it 3-1 after the break, with Bradley Johnson adding a fourth, again set up by Hubertz.
