Junior Agogo rescued a valuable point for Nottingham Forest with a last-minute header at the City Ground. Agogo rose to nod home a corner from Lewis McGugan, who had earlier given Forest the lead with a stunning 20-yard finish after a fine flowing move.
But Northampton levelled after a Matt Lockwood error let Ryan Gilligan cross for Poul Hubertz to tap in.
Northampton took a 2-1 lead on 65 minutes through Daniel Jones's strike, but Agogo had the last word.
