Tranmere struck twice in five minutes in the first half to cruise to victory against crisis club Bournemouth. Chris Greenacre set up Calvin Zola to score from 12 yards after 23 minutes as Tranmere started well.
Greenacre quickly added the second from the spot after Warren Cummings hauled down Jennison Myrie-Williams.
Zola turned creator when Steven Jennings scored from six yards after 63 minutes, with Sam Vokes' late 20-yard drive no consolation for the Cherries.
