Doncaster fought back to earn a point against Gillingham at Priestfield. Chris Dickson put Gillingham ahead in the 18th minute, turning smartly in the box and firing beyond Neil Sullivan.
The Gills should have made it 2-0 with a penalty but Delroy Facey lashed the ball against the bar after Dickson was felled in the area.
And Rovers, who had a Lewis Guy strike disallowed for offside, levelled when James Hayter notched from the spot following a foul on Richie Wellens.
