Max-Alain Gradel's stunning double helped Bournemouth sink poor Crewe. Bournemouth took the lead when Danny Hollands whipped in Darren Anderton's short corner to the near post and Lee Bradbury rose unchallenged to nod home.
Gradel scored a stunning 25-yard rocket before firing in a second from the edge of the box on 77 minutes to put the visitors in complete control.
Anderton's tap-in made it 4-0 before Shaun Miller scored a late consolation for Crewe.
