Tranmere came from two goals down to pick up a point against Northampton. Andy Kirk nodded in Town's opener after a clearance from keeper Mark Bunn and Poul Hubertz's header doubled the lead before Bunn made two terrific saves.
After the break Chris Shuker beat Bunn with an angled shot and Gareth Taylor nodded in Shuker's cross with two minutes remaining to salvage a point.
Shane Sheriff almost won it for Rovers in injury time but Bunn made a superb fingertip save to keep him out.
