Brighton cruised to a third successive home win with goals from Dean Hammond, Dean Cox and substitute David Martot. Hammond converted from the spot after being up-ended by Gary Alexander and a Cox chip made it two before the break.
Millwall picked up after bringing on substitute Jay Simpson, but the Lions could not break their hosts down.
Martot scored his first goal for the Seagulls from close range and Millwall finished the match with 10 men when Zak Whitbread received a second booking.
