Wayne Gray scored the only goal as Leyton Orient defeated Walsall. The striker headed home a right-wing cross from Wayne Corden as Orient won their third straight game this season.
Adam Boyd should have put the home team ahead in the first half but his penalty was saved by Clayton Ince after Scott Dann had fouled Adam Chambers.
Tommy Mooney had gone close with a volley for Walsall early on and substitute Ishmel Demontagnac later shot wildly over when totally clear.
