Northampton eased their relegation worries with a resounding victory over bottom-club Rotherham. The Cobblers completely dominated and could have won by a bigger margin had they not eased up in the second half.
Kenny Deuchar opened the scoring after beating goalkeeper Neil Cutler to a loose ball on the edge of the box.
Mark Hughes doubled their lead by heading home a Bradley Johnson free-kick at the far post and Ian Taylor added a third with a header.
